Special Constabulary

Special Constables undertake a whole range of duties, supporting the regular force in policing Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.  Some crew our launches in the Solent, whilst others assist the Roads Policing Unit patrolling the highways and motorways across the region.  Special Constables with us will start with our Response and Patrol teams responding to emergency calls across the County, or with Neighbourhood & Prevention teams helping to deal with matters at the heart of local communities.
